Activity Types

The Activity Types tab in TalentHunting enables organizations to manage, categorize, and track the different types of activities that occur throughout the recruitment process. Activities represent the daily actions performed by recruiters, hiring managers, and team members, such as calls, emails, interviews, or follow-ups.

By organizing activities into specific categories, TalentHunting makes it easier to standardize workflows, improve reporting accuracy, and analyze recruitment performance.

Key Features in the Activity Types Tab:

Create Activity Types

  • Custom Activity Creation: In addition to the default activity types, users can create custom types tailored to their unique recruitment workflows. Examples include: Candidate Screening, Offer Discussion, Assessment Review.

  • Flexible Categorization: Assign clear labels and descriptions to activity types for easier identification and tracking.

  • Workflow Integration: Once created, custom activity types can be assigned directly to activities within opportunities, jobs, or contacts.

View Activity Types

  • Comprehensive List: View all activity types available in the system, including both default and custom entries.

  • Activity Details: Review each activity type’s name, description, and any associated interactions.

  • Usage Tracking: Monitor how frequently each activity type is used across recruitment processes to assess effectiveness and identify improvement areas.

Default Activity Types

TalentHunting comes with a set of predefined activity types to cover common recruitment actions:

  • Call – Log candidate or stakeholder phone calls.

  • Deadline – Track important due dates or deliverables.

  • Email – Record email communications with candidates or team members.

  • Lunch – Schedule informal meetings or networking events.

  • Meeting – Manage internal or external recruitment-related meetings.

  • Task – Assign general tasks or reminders related to recruitment workflows.
