Opportunities
What is an Opportunity?
An opportunity in TalentHunting is created when a contact matches with an open position.
It represents the start of the recruitment process for that candidate in relation to a specific job. Opportunities give recruiters a structured way to manage, monitor, and track all activities linked to a candidate-job match, ensuring no step is missed and the process runs efficiently.
Here, the recruiter essentially has all the information related to the candidate during the recruitment process.
Why Opportunities Matter?
Centralized management: Keep all candidate and job-related information in one place.
Visibility: Track the progress of each candidate through the recruitment pipeline.
Efficiency: Ensure recruiters can focus on the right actions at the right time.
Accountability: Every action, interview, or note is logged against the opportunity for clear audit trails.
Managing Opportunities in TalentHunting
With TalentHunting, recruiters can:
Create Opportunities: Manually create an opportunity when a contact is linked to a job opening.
Track and Update Status: Move the opportunity through each stage of the recruitment pipeline, from creation to closure.
Monitor Pipeline Progress: Identify bottlenecks or delays and ensure smooth candidate flow.
Centralize Data: Store candidate details, job descriptions, emails, notes, and activities all in one location for easy access.
Collaborate: Share opportunities with team members, assign tasks, and communicate updates directly within the platform.
Pipeline Stages
Opportunities move through pipeline stages, which represent the steps in your recruitment process. These stages provide structure and help you understand exactly where each candidate is in the hiring journey.
Example Pipeline Stages:
New: Candidate is linked to a vacancy.
Screening: Review CV, qualifications, and skills.
Interview: Schedule and conduct interviews.
Offer: Extend an offer to the candidate.
Hired / Closed: Process successfully completed or opportunity closed without hire.
